The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, taught her listeners how to Think and demand R-E-S-P-E-C-T while riding down the Freeway (of Love)! In this production, award-winning songstress Cece Teneal takes music lovers on a trip down memory lane with stellar hits from Aretha Franklin’s 50 years of musical entertainment. Audiences will be energized by Cece’s strong, soulful voice, and beautiful piano accompaniment to Franklin’s lyrical life lessons.

Spencer Day

Spencer Day is a widely acclaimed singer/songwriter/pianist creating witty and sophisticated pop songs in the tradition of classic jazz American writers. Day’s songwriting is influenced by jazz, musical theater, cabaret, soul, and pop. He has composed, arranged, and produced 7 albums, the most recent of which, Broadway by Day, is a clever reimagining of well-known musical theater tunes. He and his musical colleague on guitar & vocals will share a special evening of fabulous music and friendly interaction.

The Travis Anderson Trio

Travis Anderson Trio is a Minneapolis-based ensemble giving a modern twist to classic jazz and pops favorites. Led by fleet-fingered pianist Travis Anderson, this creative ensemble will bring many smiles to your face with a familiar program of 60s’ T.V. theme music, Disney, and pops/jazz standards. Steve Pikal, the first-call bassist of the Twin Cities, lays down a great bass line. Drummer Nathan Norman is a smooth and sensitive player who adds many interesting colors to the beat. Travis Anderson, a mainstay on the local jazz scene for over fifteen years, has wowed audiences everywhere from intimate jazz clubs to 2,000-seat halls. The Travis Anderson Trio’s dynamic style charms both seasoned connoisseurs and jazz newcomers alike.

How Sweet it Is!

Nashville-based Steve Leslie is an awarded singer/songwriter/guitarist. In “How Sweet It Is!” Steve Leslie performs the music of one of his greatest influences, James Taylor, in an authentic and spellbinding concert event. Steve’s warm baritone and exceptional guitar technique will have audiences singing along to James Taylor’s incredible catalog of songs. Audiences are raving about “How Sweet It Is!” and the level of genuine craftsmanship Steve Leslie brings to James Taylor’s music. Leslie will be accompanied by his musical partner on piano.
